Engine revs fluctuate rapidly during touchless car wash??

hey guys, I don't know if it's happened to a few owners but my engine started revving erratically whenever I pull into a touchless car wash system. The RPM idles from 1,000 and goes from 700-1,000, shaking the car a bit.. makes me feel like the car is about to die. I have an '07 328i.. could it be a gen1 problem? I brought it but the techs did not find any problems??

Any ideas?

Is it only when the car is in the wash? What about just sitting idle?

It's your engine pulling the mist/water vapor throught the intake cause the stumbling. No big deal.
