Thought I would start a new thread for allocations and orders.

I have week 14 build for a 40i.

Looking forward to seeing the new hardware and highway assist!

Anyone else have an allocation?

You can call 1.844.4GENIUS (443-6487) and hit 0 and give them your production number and ask for your build date.

You will get your production number when your dealer takes your order if they have an allocation (status 111). You can then go into my garage and see your configuration. You can get your build week from your sales person. You can change your order until it goes into status 150 (it flips into 150 about 2 weeks prior to build week). When it goes into 150 you get your vin. So, depending on when your build week is it may take some time before you get your vin.

To check detailed status and production date with a browser:

Open browser and go to BMW My Garage https://mygarage.bmwusa.com/

Hit F12 to open the developer screen and click on console.

Copy and paste the string below into the bottom of the console section in your browser. I have used Chrome, Edge and Firefox. All browsers work.

111 Order Accepted
112 Order scheduled for Production

Me! Don’t have a week assigned yet. Marina Bay Blue M60i, ivory/atlas gray leather, fineline black trim, captains chairs, all options. So excited!!!

I’ve been waiting since November for an allocation and finally got one this week.

If you have an allocation, you have a week assigned. If no week, you don't have an actual allocation.

I’m not sure that’s true. I definitely have an allocation. I’m in status 111, with a production number but no scheduled week yet.

placed my order on 1/17; received our production number on 3/1 and build date of 4/17. M60i. I was getting a little frustrated over the lack of progress and was starting to entertain the thought of canceling the order and going with a 7 series, but it worked out in the end.
Dealer believes we can expect delivery during the first week of May.

Still has HUD and all other options listed.

2024 x5 is available in US configurator, they should flip the x7 soon!
