Damn Trucks!!

So I was on my back to school and lucky me a huge chunk of frozen snow came off a tractor trailor truck and hit the front of my car. Luckily the damage wasn't bad... cracker the lower mesh grille on the drivers side and it pushed the foglight back... like the top of it is wobily like it just broke the bracket. So I'm wonddering if anyone can tell me what replacing this would entail... cost and how to replace the two. I know on my e36 you could just pop a screwdriver in a hole next to the foglight and pop it out and then there was a few screws to replace the bracket. I don't think the e92 is set up this way though i don't know my way around this car yet cause i've only had it for about a month. It's an e92 335 by the way. Thanks in advance.

Should have written down the truck/trailer license plate #. I had a similar incident in Hawaii about 8 years ago and the lease agency for the trailer paid out for the damages through my insurance.

I wish they would make a totally separate road network for Semis.

Heh - samething happened to me, but with a traffic cone that fell of the truck. i used the link above to re-seat my fog lamp. it just snapped back in. I don't really care about the cracked mesh grill though- its not very noticeable.

The lower mesh? I thought they were pretty cheap running in the $20-$30 range?
