Apple Car Play vs WiFi Phone Connection

Recently, I changed the name of my iPhone that was connected to my new 5 series. When I did so, I now have two phones appearing under connected devices. Prior to this the same phone "Andrew's iPhone" had the Apple car play and wifi logo next to it. Since doing so, it is not broken up into two separate "phones" (even though it is the same one). Does anyone else know how I can fix this issue. I've disconnected devices, reconnected but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated. (FYI there are no technical issues but it is just annoying me lol).

Just delete one of your phones.

Thank you for the suggestion but unfortunately I can only delete the iPhone with the Apple Car Play logo next to it. This option is not available for the other phone with the WiFi logo next to it. In any case I deleted the iPhone with Apple Car Play then re-added and it didn't make a difference.

Any other suggestions?

Update....just downloaded the BMW app and that allowed me to synch Car Play and Wifi to one device. Thank you all for the help!
