What would the BM3 WiFi Adapter be without a brand new completely reimagined user experience? We are beyond excited to share the brand new bootmod3 v2 app with you.

Over the years we have been able to gather incredible feedback from users on how to improve and, 2 years later, we're ready to show it to you finally! We're not stopping here as there's still much more to come but here's what we've done..

Over 400 tasks have been completed during its development with primary focus on the following:

🔸 New User Interface
◦ App entirely rewritten/redesigned using the latest tech to enhance usability for the widest possible range of mobile and desktop/laptop devices.

🔸 Multi-Language Support
◦ We've added support for close to 30 languages. Choose your native language from the Settings screen and all the app's text, buttons, will be translated!

🔸 Multi-Login Vehicle Switching Support
◦ Minimize logins for easy management across multiple accounts and vehicles
◦ Auto-switch between accounts depending on vehicle connected

🔸 Offline Support
◦ Access all app features without internet access including offline flashing and DME re-lock

🔸 Dashboard
◦ Multiple dash screens and customizable gauge layout
◦ Configure dashboard look and feel, Min/Max Alerts and view them in a dedicated screen

🔸 Maps
◦ OTS Maps full re-org - now entirely managed in their own screen, organized by Stage with a simple octane selector
◦ Simplified user experience when looking at the vast selection of bootmod3 OTS Maps for each engine type
◦ Auto-download of Custom Map updates on My Maps
◦ Easy sorting and search

🔸 Datalog Charting
◦ Datalogs get charted in landscape mode with improved tap, pinch/zoom support and with channels displayed in a separate tab to the right
◦ Charts are now entirely usable even on smaller screens!
◦ Toggle channels on/off on charts easily with a search

...and many others...built with ❤️ we hope you enjoy the update, download the app and check out the YouTube video linked below.

Very nice updates. Hopefully the datalog experience is a lot better without having to log in so much.

I unfortunately had to go away from bm3 and move to MHD. Seems like a lot of the custom tuners I prefer to use don’t support bm3.

Question, do you think you guys will ever support 2 step for a f30 n55? I have an issue where when trying to stage for a launch the car will continue to build in rpm’s on a foot brake past the point I want while I’m waiting for the light.

You have more tuners on bm3 than on mhd. Just look at their tuners listing and compare. BM3 got antilag for a long time now, plus flex fuel, map switching etc. they call it Custom ROM.

Yea there are some really good ones that aren’t. David Shoup, Chris Kontos, Wedge to name a few.

Shoup shouldn't be on that list after trying to claim his tune had the stock turbo n55 record and when he was proven wrong be still tried to claim it.. or the time he claimed his tuned car beat a corvette with "x" mod list and then the bmw and the camaro guy corrected him saying it had less mods, he still turned around and posted in multiple spots the false info...

N55 stg2 multimap, can't enable Nostrum HPFP without Nostrum injectors getting enabled. It seems that they get automatically selected and unselected together. Please take a look

MHD has all of these things too, FYI.

The MHD antilag should achieve that, or you might be able to use custom LC settings in XHP

BM3 >>> MHD after all these updates. They fixed up all the little things and made everything 100x easier to use, connect and it looks just so damn nice. Chart for logs is the best one for small phone screens. Others I tried were always a major pain.

When this new app version 2 was first released, Facebook groups lit up with bug reports. Is anyone using the latest version with bug fixes labeled version 2.0.2 that was released two days ago? How stable is it? Any issues?

Judging by what’s said in the bm3 facebook group those minor few things that came up already got fixed. People mostly didn’t know that now you can do all your stuff with OTS Maps right in the OTS Maps screen now even though it says it right in the app 🤣

This isn't intended to be a BM3 vs MHD debate, i was just noting in my previous post for anyone reading that the things you mentioned were also available on MHD and mentioning to Scotty that one of those may achieve what he wanted with MHD. IMO MHD has always been very easy to use, it was one of the things that swayed me to go MHD through for the simple android app flashing capabilities many years ago. It's really just personal choice between the two.

Yes, minor bugs got all fixed, if any pop up, it'll get fixed within the day normally, the team is actively looking

It's pretty hard to release an app, remade from scratch, even extensively tested (I helped test it as well, had helped add some minor details for eye candy) completely bug free.

Anyone who works software or development knows.

That's why we have guys (including me) who provide feedback on how to get guys to come to BM3 instead of MHD, as most of the complaints are due to connectivity and UI. So, that's why they created the wifi adapter, and completely redid their UI from scratch.

Make it more simple, and eventually people will pop over

The competition is good, it's what keeps both platforms continuing to develop and improve

Might be an issue with the Stage 2+ Multimap - It shows as version 1.3 in the list, but when I download it, it downloads version 1.2 which lacks the 93 octane and flat torque slots.

No such issue in the web app.
