Misfiring cylinder 4 (002779) (00273f)

Greetings

I'm new to BMW so please excuse my lack of information and thanks in advance

So the engine check light is on and the car is driving very terribly, I have carly and got the following error codes( see attachments ) from what I understand I need a new exhaust pressure sensor and an oxygen sensor is that correct?

And if so should I fix it myself or not worth the effort and just go to a mechanic

Looks like two issues:

1.) Downstream O2 sensor.
2.) Ignition coil

Fixing (1) is just a swap out of the part, but it is difficult to reach, just because it is tight. The old sensor might be a pain to get out because it is likely siezed in place due to age.

Fixing (2) will be easier. Simply take the vanity cover off and replace the coil (one bolt).

Thank you for the reply I will try to change the coil and see what happens, but it says the exhaust pressure sensor might be faulty as well do you think I should change it or leave it for now?

What engine does your car have and how many miles are on it?

You posted screen shots showing Lambda Sensor (O2 sensor) and Exhaust temperature sensor faults. Rule of thumb is 100k miles is a good service life for O2 sensors. Some last longer, but that's roughly when they fail.

Exhaust temp sensor suggests that you have a turbo car. I'll leave that one to those guys (Ive only dealt with N52s).

I believe it’s N46 and it’s 180k kilometres not sure about miles to be honest and I owned it when it had roughly 110k so not sure if the o2 sensor was replaced before.

My car definitely doesn’t have turbo so I’m assuming from your message the exhaust sensor is an issue with turbo engines only?
