Trying to renew my subscription for the last two weeks... is there any trick to this?

I always get this error. What gives?

Try clearing history/cookies/cache and see if that makes any difference. I have been going in quite frequently without any issues. Could also try a different browser.

I found that I could get in, when I got that message, by going to a private window in Firefox.

I've had that happen to me as well and then for the same reason it happened, it cleared and I got in. What's the reason it happened??? Who knows However, doing what Turtleboy suggested never hurts even though you have tried multiple computers. So, take your favorite computer and browser, clear the cache, cookies and history and then click here https://login.bmwusa.com/oneid/#/log...ge.bmwusa.com/ Might work, might not and if it does work, no one will know why but you'll be happy I just signed in without issue. Can you get into your MyBMW app ok?

There was also a theory floating around at one point that they use regional servers and that is why some work and others don’t. For kicks, if you have a VPN try connecting to a VPN server in Colorado and then see if you can get in.

I get that same message whenever I try to log into mybmw from my iMac with Safari. I started using chrome and it works every time.

Paul100 I also use an Apple and Safari and it works fine for me every time. I'm on Safari 16.3. Turtleboy may be correct in that BMW uses local servers to cover the US, I’m on the east coast, you’re on the west coast but that wouldn’t explain why you are able to get to the site using Chrome and not Safari (well maybe, I don’t pretend to fully understand how these things work :-)

You may want to check a few things in Safari and see if that helps.
- Settings > Websites > Content Blockers. Make sure you don't have any BMW related websites blocked
- Settings > Privacy > Cookies and website data. Make sure you do not have Block all cookies checked
- Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data. Click on the Manage Website Data button and then click on Remove All. This will sign you out of any website you may be currently signed into, like Bimmerpost, etc but you can just sign back in. Be sure to wait until the window says…No Saved Website Data and there is nothing left to remove. If you don’t want to zap them all, then scroll down in that window and find the ones relating to the MyBMW website and remove those. You should see two of them, bmw.com and bmwusa.com

I'm completely stumped! I tried a VPN in 3 different locations, tried incognito mode, tried deleting cookies and cache, tried interenet explorer, tried my phone, tried my ipad, nothing - always redirected to an error.

What on earth?? Is there any other way to get this subscription?

I have found that I'm blocked from many sites when I have my VPN turned on. If you are on a secure network, try turning your VPN off to see if you can access the site.

In the US, ConnectedDrive Services are included for four years. After that they can be renewed on a yearly basis, currently at $150.

Thanks for the info. I did a search and landed here for ConnectedDrivehttps://www.bmwusa.com/explore/connecteddrive.html. Are all these items for subscription? Where did you get those? For me I only find HUD, remote start and drive recorder useful. I can live without others.

Those are various individual options, you can ignore those. Log into MyGarage and go to the Vehicle Profile and you will see your ConnectedDrive subscriptions. At the bottom is the link to the Shop BMW ConnectedDrive and you will see Connected Services with a link to show all that is included.
