Help Ticking sound

It's been a little cold out here in Cincinnati, and when I start my car up I here a ticking or clicking sound... anyone else getting the same thing? I call service and they said it's normal for Bmw's

ticking sound should go away once the oil temps are warmed

make sure theres no foreign device under your car... or near your gas tank. Seen some bad things in the movies....

its ok. The 335 has a metal plate under the drivers seat.

Totally normal.Even when warmed up you might hear a slight ticking.Thats the direct injection.(fuel injectors)

Ticking is definitely more pronounced when its very cold outside and echos and amplified more if you parked inside of a small enclosed garage! I lowered my car with coilovers and the rear sat a little lower to the ground, the very next morning I started the car, everything hanging on the garage started to vibrate and this never happened before even with my aftermarket exhaust...The ticking also seemed to be amplified I think!!!
