Anyone have a meth addiction?

Just a little something we've been working on for the last few weeks. A few of you can already guess what it is

The system will be fully integrated. Redundant fail-safe features. Active and automatic map engagement. Flow detection input. All the logic has already been finished. Now just comes the field testing and final mapping. Should have results towards the end of next week.

Yep... pretty excited about it. Something I've always wanted to do with the n54. It's set up so nicely for it on so many levels (closed loop under boost, small turbos, conservative advance mapping, tuner detection at high fuel demands, etc,.) What held me back was getting the control system right. You don't want to risk your engine one something as mundane is a jet clog. With the BMW, that's a very expensive mistake. But yeah, we got it sorted out

I suspect some of the hardware can be re-used. But not all

Not sure yet. Let me get the product finished first and we can see what is swappable with what you have. There's a good chance that there is nothing in common. We're using a self-priming 250psi pump for starters.

I was a alcoholic with my M3 but I could easily be a meth addict if the gains are as sweet as I hope .....

The gains will be great for a number of reasons. First, effective octane is going to be bumped up to over 100oct. Second, IAT will drop so much that air density will be colder than you would get with the best FMIC in the middle of winter. And lastly, since we are adding an auxiliary fuel source, we wont have to worry about or tip-toe around the factory Tuner Detection gotchas. It's really a perfect solution if integrated properly. And it will be.
