raise rear h&r springs!!!!!!!! 1/2 a inch??

Hello Guys, is their a way to raise the rear maybe 1/2 a inch on H&R sport spring. I find that the rear looks to low, like sitting down to much... is their spacers, or other things that can be done, coilover is not a option!
thanks

heh... Sorry to break it to ya bro but it is what it is..... Get coilovers hahaha. I know its not an option....

Put your OEM springs back on in the rear lol... But its not a good idea when the spring rates will be different from front to rear... So you might have to live with it

Uh... for adjustability coilovers are your only option.

+1

The height for spring drop is not changeable unless you get adjustable shocks. If you want to, try Eiback Pro-kit. That drop is more subtle.

Can you possibly post a pic of your car? I just picked up a 2006 330xi sports package and was planning on dropping it on H&R sport springs, but after reading this thread i might just go KW coilovers.

For the OP this is the very reason I got rid of my H&R springs. I have KWV3 now and no more rear sag. There are worth every penny as the ride is much better; the springs are match with the dampers. If I knew what I knew now I would have bought the KW in the first place.

Are there any springs that are closer to stock than the H&R sports?

What if you kept the rear springs stock and swapped out the front with the eibach springs? I bet that would make the front and rear look even.

It probably would make the front and rear look even, but as someone mentioned earlier, I don't know if it's a good idea having different spring rates in the front and rear.

REALLY bad idea.

they H&R have a MUCH higher spring rate, so if you had a stiff and fast rebounding front springs, and the rear were stock, you are going to get a weird bouncy effect everytime you hit a bump.

It totally defeats the purpose of you getting springs if you are only running fronts...
your handling will be really messed up.

don't do it, I had H&R Sport springs before i got the H&R coilovers,
the stock shocks take a beating and will last anywhere from 20-50Km. So if you left the rear stock. your going to have to replace the front suspension way sooner. Maybe even before you will get annoyed of the rough and bouncy ride and want to spend the extra money to get coilovers.

personal opinion.

This is the one thing I dont like about my H&R's. rear is too low. I might get an FK coilover system soon.

Eibach's are on Ebay. $252 shipped.

I'm installing them now. Eibach's on the front with zsp's on the rear. Eibach's and zsp's have almost the same spring rate. I'll post pics when done.
