BMW Performance Intake for 335i

What's going on everyone! First I'd like to say that this is a great forum. I just recently purchased my 07 335i and have been searching this forum for info on the car. It's how I found out I had an 07 without an oil cooler. Anyways, after just being denied the upgrade from Corporate, (which my service guy thought was lame). I ended up talking to parts regarding a Performance Intake for the 335i. He told me they had one in testing but it wasn't performing as planned so they are now looking to outsource one and get it certified to not void your warranty. He said it wouldn't be at least another 6 months, but it is in the works.

Not sure if was just Service Center B.S. or there's some truth to it, but I was just throwing it out there.

Thanks!

Go out and induce a limp, then ask again.
