Vishnu Dual Cone Intake

I installed Vishnu's new dual cone air intake two days ago. If you haven't done this yet, get on it! I noticed an immediate pickup in power between 3500 and 4500 rpm. At first the response was a bit rough, but after about a day of regular driving the ECU seemed to adjust and the delivery smoothed out. I've heard some people complain about additional noise with this unit. Don't let this stop you from getting the dual cone! Yes, you can hear the thing breathe a bit, but the tradeoff in performance is absolutely worth it. Besides, you didn't by buy this car for its "cushy" creature comforts and luxury feel, did you?

Most folks will want to install the dual cone themselves. If you're like me, however, and don't have the time or inclination for DIY projects, it won't cost but a few bucks to have your local shop do the work. If you're in the Bay Area, take it to my friends at Kahler's in Dublin. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Call Ash at 925-829-2050 with all your install, maintenance, and repair needs. He'll take good care of you.

what, after all this time and billions of questions you're actually deciding against getting a piggyback? DCI isn't really worth it unless you have a tune

why the sudden change of heart in regards to getting a tune? Are you waiting for something else like a flash? I do find it odd that you inquired so much about the piggys and then opted to back off of them!

After so many questions (which usually are recurrent) you should know EVERYTHING about tunes, intakes, etc. But same questions still arise.

You've asked sooooo many questions about RevII on forum, sent PMs to Shiv and now I really doubt you'll buy one.

Sorry for the OT.

Wow, you had a shop install a DCI. That's a 5 minute install with a flat head screw driver.

How can you justify paying something that a 10 year old with a tool chest can do in the dark...
