Bubbles on centre speaker cover.
Hi Guys,
I have what looks like water bubbles in the centre mesh grill, pic of part below. I have tried everything for the last 2-3 years to remove them and am at a loss, nothing has worked and if anything only made it worse. I’ve no idea how they got there, as I’ve owned from new, all I can think of it was overspray from cleaning the inside of the window screen. Ive tried clay, soft brushes, stiff brushes, them gel sticky things, hot water etc. Anyone else have this and found a way to clean them? I’ve even considered replacing it, but it seems like it’s a fairly involved Job to get this part out. |

buy a new part or just put up with it?
if it's non sound transmitting i'd say paint it. but you don't want to paint over something that lets sound through? |

That is 'stuff' held within the mesh.
Either a small probe per cell of mesh, or try a toothbrush. The 'stuff' is likely the cleaner used to clean the top surface, so should come out easily, if a while to do. Just don't go pushing cocktail sticks more than 1/4" into the grill. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Geviro-Appl...s%2C71&sr=8-10 |
