335i actuators replacment..
So i've noticed this weird lack of power in my car and felt that the lag is now takin too much of my horses.
Took my car to the Agent here in dubai and they said that my actuators must be replaced and the car should be reprogrammed...Now what made them decide on changing the actuators is the strange BOV-like sound i have after releasin the throttle at 3,000 rpm(from a standstill) any thoughts or any1 experienced this ?

I assume by "actuators" you mean the wastegate actuators? I had a problem with wastegate rattling... and although the rattling sound occurs at the same time a BOV would release pressure, they sound very different. Also, rattling wastegates due to faulty actuators would not cause a lag or lack of power.
Search "wastegate rattle" and maybe you'll find that's the problem you're having... in which case, yes, it would be appropriate to replace your actuators.
