Finally! My e90 with AE Quads

So I finally got my AE Quads installed a few days ago. Here's a few pics I took with my iPhone. I'll try and get some better pics in the next several days.

So far, all the AE quads I've seen sit too low. Seems like a common fitment issue.

Just have to thank the guys at RJ's Paint Shop in Pleasanton for doing the install for me. They are awesome and very customer oriented! The tips do seem slightly on the lower side but that's the way they are welded to the mufflers. There is more room on the mufflers above the exhaust tips but for some reason they are closer to the bottom. That's good in some aspects cause from the rear, the mufflers are not hanging down . I'm considering some kind of diffuser, but I'm fine with it for now. This car is definitely a work in progress.

quad tips look really off especially the driver's side...Both seem to be too low compared to the cutout on the bumper...It would bother me....

To be honest - it looks like ass. It *NEEDS* to be up another inch or so and fit inbetween the cutouts.

This isn't the first picture with this issue -- is it an AE fitment issue?

It's probably because the AE's tips aren't adjustable. It does look off to me too

Not as bad as the OP - but ya, would look better if it was raised slightly.

It looks like the body shop cut the bumper too high.

The tips actually are adjustable by way of adjusting the flanges on the car starting from the downpipe flange all the way back.

No exhausts have 'adjustable tips' that can move up down and side to side, its mostly in the alignment of all the flanges.

Off the bat, on the pictures in the OP's post, I can tell that the section 1 pipe is misaligned which causes a drastic misalignment of the tips. Through adjusting the different flange points, its possible to adjust where the tips are both vertically and horizontally and we've yet to have any issues thus far.

In the case above (OP), its clearly not been aligned correctly during installation and as such, can be easily adjusted still.

Here is a picture of my personal car with quads for reference-

Also,

Here is a few pictures from a fellow E90P user with the exhaust. (ericsmc83)

Incorrect. My Eisenmann Race tips are adjustable (flange between the tips/muffler outlet).

Adjustable for clockwise/counterclockwise rotation, and how much they extend outward or inward? or are they on a ball joint that lets them swivel any way? I've never seen an Eisenmann system out of the box, which is why I ask.

If I'm wrong, I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.
