more recent BMS dual cone intake reviews?
I did a search already and read some past reviews regarding the intake. Now I would like to hear some more recent reviews after having this intake or maybe comparing it to other intakes in the market.
The price is definitely a big plus, any problems?? engine codes?? how does the sound compare to other intakes?? |

I don't have time to write a thorough review but I installed a pair about a week ago. The install went pretty smoothly. It's a little hard to get the rear filter and coupler installed - would suggest removing the cowl and battery cable conduit. There is little if any difference in sound that I can tell, but I'm partially deaf in the left ear from a shooting incident. A friend said he could hear the turbo's more at low speed, but I can never hear them anyway. Definitely an improvement in performance on the top end. My previous best 1/4 was about 12.7 at 108, now it's 12.6 at 111. It might be a little crisper on the low end, but that might be due to the new procede map I added the same day which was supposed to add more low end torque right off idle.

Great sound and moderate performance gains. The higher the boost the more performance benefit there is from the DCI. I believe if you are running 12+ PSI you should have an intake of some sort..
