Rear Passenger vibration after 75mph

Hey guys I’ve been trying to pinpoint this weird vibration I’ve been having in the rear passenger side. So I don’t feel it much or at all under 60 mph but after I pass 75-80 mph on highway I feel it after I let off the gas, I don’t not feel it while accelerating however. I thought it was an off balanced tire and alignment and got new tires since it was time anyways all around and alignment. After that it did lessen it way more but I can still feel it, passengers can not but I def can feel it. Any ideas or what I should look at would be appreciated thanks

How many miles does the car have? Were the tires RoadForce balanced? Were the rear wheel bearings inspected?

With the caveat that the remote diagnostics are what they are: it's unusual for the passengers not to experience vibrations as they are much closer to the source.

I’m not sure of roadfoce balance, most likely just standard balancing. Was going to inspect the wheel bearing soon as I usually go to a DIY garage that offers lifts since I’ll be doing an oil change and brakes as soon as my brakes parts come in.

But ya I ask my friends if they feel that slight vibration coming from the rear and they def don’t notice it especially when I did a 3 hour road trip with them in the car last weekend.

Check the tire balance first. The next to check is the control arms and the condition of all the bushings. Also check the strut/dampener - the bushing at the bottom and the top mount just in case. In order for such vibration to be caused by the bearing, the bearing has to be really bad and the noise coming from it would be extremely noticeable. My bet is on the tire/wheel and the bushings as next choice. Have had the same issue in the past - the 2 piece Cromodora rim at the rear was unbalanced (example).

I’m at around 97k miles so probably should be checking bushings for sure. Don’t have aftermarket wheels just the standard Msport wheels that come with the msport package. One of my friends did say it could be a bent rim too but the tire shop should have noticed and said something if it was that.

At 97K miles, the earlier suggestion to inspect bushings is very prudent. In fact, all suspension parts with rubber components should be inspected.

Bent rim would be easily detected by the tire balancing process.
