DME Replacement

Anyone have thier DME replaced to fix missfires for there 335?

They almost replaced mine because of missfires.

They changed my fuel pump and when they tried to update my software to 31.xx it caused all kinds of problems. They replaced the coils and on injector and reprogrammed but it kept giving them problems.

Then they opened a PUMA case with BMW engineers and they said the computer had to be replaced because it was corrupted. I waited a week while they shipped it from Germany but the day it got there was the same day they got the new 32.10 software and BMW told them to give it a try and upload it before replading the ECU and it worked like a charm!!!

Car runs great now and has no lag.

Wow!

Had you ever run a tune?

Would be interesting with them opening a PUMA case.

Had the Dinan and they never gave me any grief (never even came up).

This could be due to incompetence as well...
