Get over it, it's just a car, and only a 1 series of which you have 13 in a dozen on our roads, just nothing special at all... You should have kept your E91 which was something special (at least in Holland with their crazy car prices)... Just my 2 cents....

I see you have a Z4. Nou thats something special.

The one series is so much better to drive than the Z4. Z4 has the old suspension parts it s all E46. Z4 is nice car for cruising around on boulevards. But that s not my thing.

The one series handling is just awesome. 130i engine runs fantastic.

3 serie is just to fuc... big to have fun in corners. 3 series is almost as big as the old 5 series.

Give me a 130i!!!!!

Nice first post, imagina... This site is primarily about the 1-series/2-series and people have every right to be proud of their cars, regardless of the model. If you don't share a passion for the 1-series, then go find somewhere else to crap on people's posts... Just my 2 cents...

I see Z4s and all kinds of other BMWs every day. Why don't you post some pictures of your Z4 and we'll see how special it is?

Hello all

My apologies if I offended anyone with my first post, I just wanted to state my opinion as well as everyone's comment was so positive about this car while I was not feeling the same thing and I just wanted to express myself about it (hey that's why they call this a forum, and btw I do not want to start a troll war here)...

I do love BMW's for all their great things (like their handling, performance, appearance, etc...) but I also hate them at the same time for being so overpriced, their crappy electronics, and their poorly build quality (if you are lucky you will be fine, otherwise you will be all on your own)...

I have been looking at getting a 1 series as well, but to be honest they are even more overpriced than other BMW's, com'on overhere you will pay easily 40 to 45k EUR for a well equiped 120d, where is the logic in that? I do expect more for paying this! Further more you will get no leg room at all & it is a standard company car of which you will see 13 in a dozen going to work in the morning (not to mention that most of them are driven by women)...

spudwest, if you want to I will post some pictures of my Z4, it's a real nice one (for a 2.5), it's Ti Silver on Black with M seats, M front bumper, 17" alloys, hardtop, chromed exhaust pipes, lighted door sills (containing a blue illuminated Z4 logo), etc... However I do not find my car special at all, I am just glad that I do not see them every day on the road & that they are price/performance wise not bad, again just how I think about things...

You seem to work off of pretty lofty standards, imagina, but BMW's are about high standards, so you're in good company. I guess I'm confused by someone that would participate in an enthusiast forum and come across as completely unenthusiastic.:iono:

That said, of course you have a right to your say and I hope that in the future we can benefit from some of your insights as a BMW driver and enthusiast. It sounds like you have a nice car, and with more sincerity than my previous post, I would be interested in seeing shots of your Z4, particularly to see some of the mods you have done.

No hard feelings...

BTW, congrats on the return of the Belgian GP to Spa. F1 is lost without its great circuits...

Oh ya, and mhoutman, the car looks awesome. You've pretty much got me sold on the Monaco Blue...

Lovely ride (and the house) you have there, totally love the color.

BTW, not to be a smartass or anything, but the 545i Tourings internal designation is E61, not E91

Great looking Z4- I've got the same year and model ...black with tan interior, 5spd manual, 17" turbine-style wheels.

Very nice car. I like the ride height - my 328i runs a little lower, too - gotta watch the speed bumps...

I still have the stock suspention, already hard & low enough, and about those speed bumps, I really hate them, but to be honest I do not really look out for them, unless you are really careful your car will hit them which is the case 9 out of 10 times for me...
