BMW 1-series coupe / 2-series coupe (BMW 135i or 235i?) first photos!! (Feb. 3, 2007)
Finally, 1-series coupe / 2-series coupe (maybe 135i or 235i) has been caught in photos (copyright Hans G. Lemann).
Might be the 135i or 235i version, with what appears to be a possible blacked-out turbo intercooler showing. We'll see (and let's hope!) |

I will be ordering this car as soon as its released. Thank god bmw decided to go back to the small car after all these balooned out 3 series cars. I just hope they offer some nice gadgets from the newer bmw cars in this car (all except the I-drive).
Looks like bmwfreak was right this car was being built as a 'vert first then coupe. Well lets wait to see the glowing reviews of this car |

The car looks amazing, from a styling standpoint, seems like the perfect car, short overhangs, 1 series proportions, rear styling similar to the e92 coupe, and a front fascia that mimicks the 1 3/5door but with a longer aspect ratio making it more sport and agressive. From a technical stanpoint, a smaller lighter car that maintains a good wheelbase with those unbelievable BMW engines (3.0l N54 and 3.2l S54, drool , makes for a completly unbeatable combo. We're going to see a total renaissance from BMW in this market. Be prepared fellas :drinking:

FINALLY, redemption......
Time to pop them bottles :drinking::roundel:. But seriously, I like it. I am kinda worried about the roofline being a bit tall, but I remember thinking that the E92s proportions were kinda funky until I saw one on the road.... |

YES, finally
I really like the way it looks in this picture: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/attac...1&d=1170551009 I was waiting for the headlights to be a little less like the current 1 series. |

Ya the roofline is a little tall, but its one of those quirky features of all the famous BMW coupes that I really love, check out the roofline on the E30 for example. I think it'll be one of those traits that will grow on you and give the car an extra "feature" that will make it stand out to you. Besides, sitting inside must feel great

Hi new guy here. Really hoping this thing drives somewhat closer to the e36 3-series than anything else available from BMW right now. If the car looks good with the masking off and the price point is right $27-32k, I'm in! Looking like it has potential so far.
