Picture of how my 135I will look
As a long time E36 owner, just joined the forum as Im going to be picking up a 135I to go with my e36. Here is a photoshop I did of what mine will look like. The following was done: BBS LM with black centers, lowered, tinted tail light, created a CF front splitter. I will be looking to add a CF rear diffuser and CF roof as well. I have a lot planned performance wise, stay tuned. Hope you guys enjoy.

I like it.
There is a general distrust around here for any modifications that approach what could be considered approaching "rice". I think a lot of people fear the dilution of the brand due to the lower entry cost to the 1er (not that ice13water does), but it is probably an irrational fear. To each his own. |

I completely understand that sentiment. After building my e36 to what it is, the same approach will be taken with my 135i. The focus is on performance, and subtle enhancements to the looks. Here are a few pics of my e36. Im just posting links as I dont want to crowd this thread with pics.

I think it looks alright. I used to hate black wheels, but they've become so common in the last few years I've shifted my opinion on them somewhat. I stand by my original thought that they are for lazy people who don't want brake dust to show, but honestly for the first time, I think the stock wheels on the 135i look great.

Interior im thinking either black or red.I wish I could get black with red stiching, like this. I guess theres always the custom route with some aftermarket seats.

A car is a very personal thing and frankly I'm of the mindset to each their own. I doubt that I will make any mods to my 135i, but that's just me. |

Thank you for the compliments, its my combo track car/daily driver. Once the 335I comes, the e36 will be more track duty. I tried to stick with the BMW motorsport tradition with the e36, as the wing is the ltw wing.

can't go wrong with LM's i was thinking of doing the same and getting some red center caps to offset and match the red interior (perhaps) .. or i may sell my DPE LS15's on my e46 and get another set for my 135i

Luv it. SOrta like the black rims, try looking at the ac schnitzer type 4 bi-color for the AW cars. That's what I'm doing with blk CF splitters, rear bumper, roof, and mirrors. I like!

You can never go wrong with BBS LM's. If I have the choice you would opt for the Alpine White with LM's as well, but unpainted.

I don't get the whole Nascar black wheels look?!?! Just me I guess. I really like regular aluminum/polish look, no chrome, with lip, especially 3" rear approximately.
Would love to see a photochop of something like Beyern Mesh 19"x9.5 on the rear etc..HRE, iForged or equivalent to that look/lip. http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...heelmodel=Mesh or like HRE http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels.php?q=/540R/540R/ Anyone?!?! |

I dont know if you have particular experience with HRE or Iforged, but I would not suggest putting that wheel on the car unless your car was going to be a trailer queen for shows. I cant tell you how many friends I have that have had issues with them. And while i know there are others that have never had issues with them, anyone that actually drives the car on anything other then glass roads will eventually have issues. Another wheel Ill photoshop on the car is the Fikse Profile 10.
