Sunroof Won't Close - 3000 miles

Today I let some hot air out by venting the sunroof, then tapped it again to close. Much to my disappointment, there was no response. I found out that you had to "initialize" by holding down the button, but this only seemed to get the glass roof unstuck. The opaque sun protector is still cracked open and letting light in.

Very disappointing considering I've probably only used it like 10 or 20 times and had the car for not even half a year yet. Any way to fix this on my own or do I have to visit with the dealership again?

Should be a warranty claim. You try fixing it and make it worse, they'll stick you with a huge bill.

Could be an electrical gremlin, try reconnecting the battery. My driver side window stopped working but started working again after disconnecting/reconnecting the battery. Worth a shot.

Yea it must have been some kind of power disruption. I got back in the car after work and it was able to close and open fine all of a sudden.
