SoCal Wait list/Deposits

Hey all,

First time poster, long time lurker of e90post and 1addicts. Did a search about wait listing/depositing, but I'm looking for a little more information than I could find.

I'm located in Irvine, CA and was wondering if anyone had any information in regards to how long, how much, what dealership, and who I should talk to in order to get myself an early spot on the wait list.

Any information is appreciated, I'm getting pumped about the 1er!

Can't wait to enter the Bimmer scene, I'm done with the nose heavy Audi!

In my experience, a $500 fully refundable deposit does the trick, but that being said, developing a strong, positive relationship with a CA is probably as or more important than the cash in a situation like this.

Good luck!
