SBM would be my choice. Either way it will look great.

I actually prefer Jet Black. A metallic black has never worked for me.

I would say Metallic Black since on Jet Black you can easily spot the scratches and wear.

Garage List
After seeing Sedona Red and Sapphire Black "in the flesh" I have to admit that (at the moment) Sedona Red is my favorite 1er color. That said, if I had the $$$ and were able to order RIGHT NOW, I'd be hard-pressed to find a better combo (for me of course) than Sapphire Black with the Coral Red leather interior

Black looks badass but I used to detail cars for a living and black is just too much work. Metallic black seems to hide the inevitable imperfections of a daily driver slightly better IMO.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm torn between colors. I'd love AW with Coral, but everyone seems to want that color combo. I've thought about Montego Blue and Sparkling Graphite, but I wonder how badly these colors would show swirl marks and stone chips. Any idea how bad MB would be to keep looking nice?

My 328i is Jet Black and I like it just fine, but I might go with Black Sapphire Metallic this time. The thing about BSM is that it doesn't even look as black as JB, which is alright. Reminds me of the Carbon Black on the E46 M3, which is kind of like a super dark navy, still one of my all-time favorite colors.

Well my mom has a jetblack 330xi, My bro has an Z4M coupe Sapphire and his girlfriend has a Sapphire 335i coupe.... Yeah when they are both waxed jet black looks a tiny bit better, my mom's car is a 2006 and the swirl marks horrible. The M has very minimal swirl marks which aren't noticible until it is a very very sunny day and your 1 foot away from the car and you can just barly see it... So as long as there is Sapphire ill never get jet black

Had a Cosmos Black (metallic) '99 M Coupe for awhile and it never looked clean to me.

Neither. Black looks good the first day you see it. It's all downhill after that.
