bluetooth profiles

Does anyone know what bluetooth profiles are supported by BMW cars? Is it headset only (for telephone conversation) or are there other profiles such as A2DP (for streaming stereo music)? Is it upgradeable?

Headset only and I highly doubt that it is upgradeable.

I've been wondering about this, too. Sorry, but I don't speak German so I don't understand what the links are saying. I'm really interested in A2DP - my Palm Pre phone works great with the car's bluetooth phone connection, but it would be nice to be able to listen to music on the phone via bluetooth rather than having to plug it into the aux input. Does anyone have more information on this?
