New update is stuck in "Uploading"

I live in Canada and got new update 2 days ago. However, it's stuck on "uploading" and driving is required. I have been driving for 2 days now (With 2 hours driving) and still on the same status "Upload".

Anyone faced the same issue ? How to solve it and push it to the installation phase?

US driver here. My prior uploads took upwards of 2 weeks to download and at least a week to upload. I do have a short commute though. Installation was quick while parked at work. My take is that if it is not a critical upgrade, just wait…….

If you have an iPhone, go into settings, BMW app, and make sure share files is on.

don’t you mean enable “Local Network”?

plus, I don’t see a “share files” setting there

No, I'm using Samsung S22 ultra

Yeah, that's what I get for trying to remember...I'm not positive that it wasn't share files at one time, though. Anyway, I don't think it will work if you don't have that enabled.
