It’s a beast. I know I’ve only had mine for two weeks, but I absolutely love it.

100-200 time of 8.2sec is faster than Lamborghini urus of 9 sec….but slower than urus performante 7.5sec. Still impressive considering how much more it weighs.

This thing is a beast. I absolutely enjoy driving mine every single time I get in it. I’m actually looking for excuses to go drive somewhere. Makes me feel like I’m 16 again.

Honest question for those of you driving them on a regular basis, do you get used to the abrupt switch from EV to hybrid? I found the jerkiness of the gas motor engagement very frustrating when I test drove it.

Nope. It’s actually quite seamless and not really that noticeable unless you mash it - especially after the 07/2023.53 update. I actualy prefer using engine only using my M buttons, but you definitely want it in hybrid mode for maximum performance since that’s why the EV motor is there.

I concur. I drive in max sport hybrid settings, there is no noticeable transition…

It’s so impressive how new and radical design this car is

I saw it side by side with an urus and it’s a tough choice and I have to say design wise it’s so far ahead

Just a cool car in and out

I had a 2023 iX M60 that I traded-in for my XM Label. If you are a performance person, the iX is not for you. Sure it can go fast in a straight line, but it handles like absolute shit by comparison because of the weight distribution. The ride is definitely smoother - especially the M60 because it has air suspension. My XM Label will beat the M60 in both 0 to 60 and quarter-mile, but not by much; however, the XM handles like a dream. It’s like they stuck an M5 inside of an iX chassis. On the other hand, if you like a super smooth ride and care more about comfort, the iX would be a better choice. At the end of the day, they are two totally different vehicles and both serve a different purpose.

Just for comparison, the iX M60 has a tad less horsepower (610 hp) than the regular XM (644 hp) with similar weight, so no surprise that the EV is faster because of the dual electric motors. The XM Label has almost 100 hp more than the standard XM, so it wins compared to any iX. The XM Label is the shit. I am so happy that I took the plunge and was worth every dollar I lost on my trade-in.

Tagging deutsch100. He’s the only other person besides me that I know of that has owned both vehicles.

I drove one for about 20 min and I’ll never even consider buying one afterwards. It wasn’t terrible, but it’s just too big (feels bigger than our x5 when you drive it) and ride quality was alot worse than the x5. The electric boost between gear changes was not for me at all. Definitely helps with performance, but I wanna feel the gears shift. And the blue interior was the nail in the coffin.

FYI, that shift you’re referring to was fixed with a software update. Zero complaints here.

thats why you drive them, not everyone will like everything. Everyone is different for sure. This is why I always promote test drives. Plus in your situation you can't go wrong with the x5, I mean that model is amazing as well!

There is something to be said to buy the absolute pinnacle/halo model of a company. The XM right now represents what the company believes is their best on the best. So congrats!

The only real noticeable red interior accents are on the AC vents which I don’t even notice anymore. I thought it would bother me, but it hasn’t at all. It’s such a small part of the interior. Then of course there is the blended red/black seats, But you don’t really notice those either when you’re sitting in them. Plus I think they look really good.
