Most replica rim won't fit our calilper/brake application?
Last week me and my friend went to a wheel shop. I am getting the 135i and my friend owns a 335i. We were both looking at some replica rims for our cars and picked a few. One was the LM replica look alikes.. after picking those and getting some pricing the sales guy asked what car we owned. After telling him he said that most replica rims might not fit because the brakes are to big and because of the special offset. Was just wondering if anyone had experience with this because another bundy bought some 18" works staggered fit but still had to customize it a bit to fit his M3 with Ap racing 6 piston calipers... :iono:
Anyone know if this is true or not or encountered this problem? I want to find out before looking into replicas or real ones so I dont waste time and money.. thanks in advance. |

Spacers + rolling fenders accomplishes very aggressive applications. If you look on E90post, you'll se quite a few folks with replicas that haven't rolled the fenders without rubbing issues. Read more about it over there or find another shop who sells replicas. I think I've decided to go with Morr Alloy's VS8 myself. Hope they fit!
