First BMW, got a few questions and an issue

Sup, guys!

Two months ago I got my first BMW 2011 E91 320D N47D20C 184 HP (236K km) and recently I started having an issue where first start in the morning the car would vibrate inside the cabin for around 5 seconds, while driving all is fine, maybe a bit rougher sound while it gets up to temperature. Temperature outside these days is around 0 celsius and getting colder. RPM gauge is steady.

Mechanic thought it was the DMF, got that replaced but it didn't solve the issue. He says he didn't see any fault codes except something about EGR which he says it's not a big issue and it's better to disable EGR by software.

A side question is what is a cost-effective way of tracking codes and running diagnostics, I see a bunch of apps people recommend but what cable should I get for it?


If it's something injector related how would I go about testing them?

Heard it's better to have a crackhead in the house than a BMW in front of the house, that true?

Check glow plugs and glow plug module.
For the cable I use K-Dcan cable (Imas na kupujemprodajem), paid about 30euro, worth every cent so far. You can use it with a laptop and inpa,ista... Also with a usb adapter you can use it with your phone.

Okay, so I got the cable and used bimmertool to check injectors and I got one deviating from the rest:

Injector 1 +1.22 mg/stk
Injector 2 -0.49 mg/stk
Injector 3 -0.30 mg/stk
Injector 4 -0.42 mg/stk

I drove the car around 35 minutes beforehand. This measurement was on idle.
