Do you need to paint CF parts?

I thought you put them on just like they come, but figured out that some members on this forum paint theirs.

some may want the benefit of the lightweight without announcing to everyone that it's CF so they paint them. Depends on what you're going for in terms of looks. If you want to look aggressive and sport/racy then exposed CF is the way...more stealth or sleeper look painted.

That is what I thought first. I was thinking of buying CF diffuser cover, and thought what is the point of painting it if it will look like the old one? Same with spoiler. Thanks foofighter
