F30 320i Weird smoke issue

Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone could help me out identifying a bit of an issue with my car, its an xdrive 320i with a stage 1 remap as well as an xhp Tune.

My issue is that, the car drives perfectly fine but in some instances when i brake and come close to a stop it feels like the car jerks as if i accelerated again, but what i find even more weird is the fact that a little smoke comes out of the engine bay area when that happens, e.g if heater/ac is on you can smell it through the vents, I have no clue what this could be so anyone who could help would appreciate it.

Would like to add that, Service including plugs were done about 1200 miles ago aswell as the fact that the tunes mentioned above were done 2 years ago and the cars always been fine up until recently. its a 2014 with the N20 Engine

Thanks

Is your engine consuming oil? Throwing any codes?

Not throwing any codes checked on bimmerlink and ista inly codes visble are of those related to tampering which i guess the remap does, but its been definitely consuming oil recently

I cannot be sure as I'm definitely not an expert, but from the symptoms it sounds like oil might be entering the cylinders and combusting under pressure (like in a diesel engine) which could explain the accelerating, the smoke and the oil consumption. This is purely theoretical as I haven't heard of this issue before for this specific engine, but my first hunch would be to check the turbo for oil leaks.

There may be other forum members who have more experience with this issue.

Faulty PCV/CCV system?

Ask in the UK section you'll probably get better coverage from those with N20s:
