Downloading speed cameras ont iDrive Nav
I've just bought a 135i. Wow, what fun!
After a few attempts, I seem to have managed to get the iPod working and all the iDrive bits and bobs sorted. I note that the NavPro does not identify any speed camera locations. Having chatted with the dealer, he has said that BMW cannot help, but knows of customers who have been able to download these from the internet onto the Nav system via a diskette. Can anyone advise if this is possible, if so how, and where do I get hold of a reliable service provider to provide this for me? :iono: |

On e90post, there's a pretty technical thread about how to create your own waypoints, including speed cameras.... I'm pretty technical, and I thought it was too much of a bother to do...

I'm no tech head!
But I would prefer to download the stuff onto the existing Nav system than have an ugly box stuck onto the lovely new dash board! Sorry chaps, I didn't realise this was a U.S. forum! Will post some pictures soon! |
