Question fog lamp bulbs to match xenon lamps?

which aftermarket "fog lamp" bulbs (not true xenon) best match the factory xenon low beam head lamps?

check out the picture forum, tonnes of posts there showing different types of aftermarket fogs, you can decide which best suits your need/liking.

I installed a Xenesis tru-match fog light bulbs that I got from bimmian.com. It matches well w/ my adaptive xenon.

i had Xenesis in my X5... they seem to last a long time and match fairly well... this still seems like my best bet.

i was wanting others feedback before i went the same route.

thanks again!

I've had Hoen's previously on my X5 but it seems the Xenesis are popular, any big difference?

About 6 screws and 1 washer under and on the bottom part of the front fender liner (each side)...basically you want to be able to pull the liner slightly to squeeze your hand in to reach the fog lamp bulb. I'd allow 30 minutes total (both sides) working at a very leisurely pace... GL

No you do not need to take off the front wheels, just turn them in, more than enough space...GL

i installed my xenesis fog lamp bulbs today... once installed they did seem to fit the housing a tad loosely... i removed the rubber o-ring gasket from my oem bulb (doubled up) and they fit real nice & tight now.
