Great news, Kompey!! Do you have any pics of the install of the DPs?

Too bad about the v2 throwing a CE and limp. I'm now wondering if the Procede needs a different version for the 135i...

Are you sure your check engine and limp are not a result of running catless downpipes? Do you have 02 sims in place? If not i would say your limp mode is more related to running catless than to the v2. Just a guess.

Sorry,I've only install it to try if they fit,but after I've remove it.
I reinstall it on may:wink:
About procede I think there is a different turbo boost sensor....

Got it. Thanks!
So just to clarify v1.47 ran fine. Just v2 threw codes right?

I will not be going the PROcede route when chipping... they may get the most power but... they get the most limps and problems.

I think this is simply a byproduct of the amount of people running the tune. More people = more problems. Furthermore, most of the limp issues that I have read about have been caused by a screwed up install. I personally know about 5 people that have been running v2 without so much of a hiccup. Just some info.

yes v1.47 run fine,v2 not.
With the diagnosis the problem is high turbo boos pressure
I've sell my procede to a friend with 335i and now I'm waiting for the new AA xede that is specific for 135i

You are correct but then again we arent exactly comapring apples to apples here. JB and SSTT are way less complicated than the V2 as they are simple plug and play tunes. Helix is way more comparable to the V2 but it has just been released and barely and handfull of people have it. All are good tunes. I would think that more complicated a tune is, and the more people have it, the larger the potential for problems will be.

Which has the most power of a true plug and play?

AFAIK, the SSTT is the only true plug & play. Everything else is splice & dice, to some extent.

Don't confuse a check engine light with limp mode.

I stand corrected. Catless DPs will trigger the Catalyst Ineffecinecy CEL not a limp mode. Thanks Turbomg.

Actually, based on dynos it would seem that Helix makes a measurable amount more power. Also, the current fastest 335i is a JB2 car, none of the procede cars, even Shiv's personal car with a more agressive tune, and race gas has managed to catch it in the 1/4th.

That is not true, someone just posted over at E90Posts and there are numerous people with properly installed Procede having all types of problems. Not to mention Scalbert found a flaw in the way the Procede boosts and because of that Shiv is releasing a new version with a new map, soon.

So, alot of people for the last 3-4 months have been having an over boost issues and complaining to shiv about them, it took another board member to investigate and find the issue before Shiv would even respond. Not to good of support from that camp.

Procede will NOT be going into my car, simply because of the massive amounts of problems and unsafe boost levels.

Specially since Active Autowerk just released a brand new device and another company, Helix seems to be getting great reviews, both for $700 bucks.

Lot of people have problem with V2,but I install it for 1st on 135i.
It isn't sure that the problem is the procede,it could be a different setting problem:wink:
