Ordered 50e pro/tech with the standard seats in sensafin. Wander if they come with lumber support as standard. I m kinda big guy with a bad back.

Pretty sure you must order merino leather which gets you multi contour seats with lumbar support.

You can get the multi-contour seats withouts getting Merino.

I have never aeen Lumber supported in an X5 nor X6. I guess it could be done with some extensive mods.

It is a function on both the Sport and Multi-contour seats.

Lumbar support is built in even the most basic cars. Implementation may be different between economy cars and higher end ones. I believe all BMWs have lumbar support, although I am not sure if all BMWs use air chambers in the seat for lumbar or its mechanical in the basic seats.

As already mentioned…no BMW comes from the factory with lumBER support. But depending on which seat & options you select…you can get the 4-way lumBAR support.

Based on the part database…the basic seat and sport seat can come without the 4-way lumbar option. Those seats would come with item #1 in the diagram. But the sport seats can also be optioned with lumbar support which would give item #2 in the diagram. Then the comfort & M-multifunction seats come with #3 in the diagram and that seat comes with the 4-way lumbar support.
