i seen the box before but not 100% clear on it.. it installs like the other ones where you gotta open the ecu panel and add connectors and what not right?
Are the maps preset or do you tune them yourself? |

Did you do a break in procedure? Be careful
Does the AA need to bypass the solenoids?

I was very careful in not going over 4000 rpms as described in the break-in procedure. I am not going all out on it yet. I can tell you 0-4000 rpms pushed me back into my seat big time. I plan on getting a full dyno run with a/f ratios when i have fully broken the car in before I really get on it. This piggy back is tunable by AA but comes with a preset map.
The boost solenoids are bypassed. I know all about the issues with the wastegates over on e-90 so I will have a very close ear on any suspicious sounds or ticking noises. So far I am very happy with this unit. Super easy to install no issues, no warning lights, no limps thus far. |

We may have to wait a bit since I only have 100 miles on the car. For a true dyno test the car has to be run through the whole rpm range. So far I have not taken it past 4000 rpms. So they dyno will have to wait a bit. Then again a road trip could speed things up. Bwahahaha

After the install the car was driven around for a while with a mechanical boost gauge to accurately measure boost. It never got past 14.5 psi. I am still debating wether to get one or not. I just dont want to take the car into the delaer with a boost gauge in place. It could raise some suspicion.

My mechanic highly recommends an upgraded intercooler with AA installation. I don't have much of an opinion on it, myself, but thought I'd let you know.
Edit; just saw your other post, stating that you're picking it up later. Cool.
