Cracked/starred windshield

This isn’t the actual windshield. I’ll post a close up photo later.

Do y’all think a quarter sized star crack in the location of the red dot can be repaired without adversely affecting the camera operation? Don’t get your panties in a wad. I know y’all aren’t experts. I’m just looking for opinions.

Long winded back story:
I was sitting in my car at Panera right by the front door finishing my order on their app and some guy walked out and I guess there was a hunk of concrete in front of him he felt like he needed to pick up and throw at my car. I don’t know for sure how that all transpired, but as I was looking at my phone finishing the order I heard a loud bang on my car. I couldn’t figure out what happened at first. I got out and looked around and looked at the body of my car and didn’t see any damage and then I noticed a big star in the upper middle part of my windshield. I still couldn’t find anything until I saw the hunk of concrete laying in the flowerbed next to my car right along the line of the windshield.

People in today’s world are so wonderful. I’ve been thinking a lot about getting a dash cam. Now that it’s too late I guess this will push me over the edge to do it.

Fix it and you'll know, that's the only way to go.

Just as long as the crack isn't in the circular portion it shouldn't interfere with the camera and should be ok in my opinion.

That’s my thought and hope. Thanks
