Just got back from Active FMIC installed

I just want to say thanks to the crew at Active for the amazing job they did on my FMIC install. We have a cold front coming tonight and the temperature is dipping. Talk about great timing. Their FMIC is way bigger than the stock one. They took plenty of pics which im sure will be up soon. The car definitely seems to keep running hard after consecutive hard runs.

Do you have any concerns about your warranty?

The FMIC doesnt worry me. If something comes up I will take the Active Processor out and take it in. All else can stay such as the air filter. I will also take out the Sprint Booster. No biggie.

Dayum... Again.. you're not making this any easier!

There's no way on God's green earth that I'd be able to follow proper break-in procedure in your car. How many miles do you have now?

Good God I thought I was bad thinking about all of these mods and contacting several vendors. You already went nuts!

Glad you like everything and thanks for posting up your thoughts and how everything goes. Keep us posted on how the FMIC does and if you notice less drop in power over long time periods(even though I dont think you will notice much because you barely had the car stock :biggrin

Not to start an argument, but don't you find that a tad irresponsible? Don't you think putting a few thousand miles on the engine (stock) and letting it adapt normally before introducing all kind of non-spec variables? (ie aftermarket piggyback)

Did you buy or lease?

Pics coming tomorrow after the drop and a few other goodies are installed. The crazy thing is the car looks bone stock even with the FMIC.

Car runs a bit cooler but then again its getting cold outside. THere is no heat soak as I am not losing any power run after run. Before the FMIC i would feel the car get weaker run after run. IT looks totally stock from the outisde. I have no idea how much power im putting down but it feels like a pretty good amount.

Hmm.

Is there something I can remove to make my fmic blatantly obvious? Because I saw a B5 S4 the other day and his intercooler looked like it was going to come eat me.
