CDV on 135
Has anyone changed out the CDV on the 135 yet?
See links for prior DIY's http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29828 http://www.zeckhausenracing.com/ I checked with my parts guy today and he says the 135 has the same CDV as the E90 - part no. 7674872 in case you are interested. I plan to but one from Zeckhausen tomorrow and put it in ASAP. Will let you know. |

CDV
Was it the exact same procedure as in the E90 DIY? Did you bleed the line and/or use a clamp? Did you replace it with a Zechanhauser(sp?) product or just take it out of the line?

I replaced it with a modified valve from Riss Racing. We bled the clutch. Whole thing took about 10 minutes.

I did mine this afternoon too. The pedal take up is much easier and the clutch seems to grab smoother now. You can also let it out quicker if you give it a bit of gas, which was slightly delayed before.

We have installation instructions with ever purchase of our modified CDV. Takes about 5 min. for the install. Its different that eliminating the CDV because dealers can see if the CDV is not there, but cannot tell the difference from the Riss Racing Modified or a stock CDV.

i'll +1 for posting instructions, they may come with the part, but some of us like to know what we are getting ourselves into BEFORE we order the parts.
