No longer available! LeatherZ - Euro Headlight Switch (enables Rear Foglights)
I no longer carry this item. I have not been able to get it from BMW for a year and a half.

On my current car, I find they work well in a large downpour, when all the other people have their hazzard flashers on. From what I have seen behind other cars with them, the constant red light is easier to actually keep track of the car location since it is not intermittent.
And of course they work well in actual fog too. |

The US switch looks identical save for the rear fog light symbol on the lower right button.

In Germany, you can only turn on the rear fogs when visability is LESS than 50 meters, in; fog, rain or snow.
50 meters is the distance between two of those white & black (Kilometer marker) sticks on the sides of the Autobahns. I put the euro switch on my US spec car. Its cool to use. |

Doubt it. BMW raised the price of the switch dramatically last year. It retails for well over $100 now.

It's my understanding that, last year, BMW stopped allowing US dealers to stock Euro parts. So stuff like that is harder to find now. You'll probably need to find someone in Germany who's willing to send it to you. Or, you could do the Lego mod to your current switch, to make it work (opening up your current switch, and using a piece of Lego to turn it into a Euro switch). Plenty of people have done that, and they seem happy with it. You'll need to do a search here to find the thread.
