Has anyone seen a 135i with BMW 216 wheels yet? Post pics...

They are on the order sheet for the 135i here in North America, yet it seems no 135i's have surfaced with them yet.

Initially the 216 wheels were only available in Europe on the Limited Sport Edition 1 series, which was limited to 2000 cars. They are from the BMW 320si FIA World Touring Car Championship model and can be distinguished by the "BMW Motorsports" cast into the wheel around the lug recess, this identifies the SA 216 Rims from BBS made during the initial production run.

Thanks for the info. That explains this picture  But what i don't understand is if they are readily available (according to BMW dealers here in the US) Why are no cars optioned with them?

Unfortunately, they are not an option. The are sold as an accessory, and if you order them at the time of sale, you'll get them in four nice 'BMW' emblazoned boxes in the back seat, carrying you new wheels.

That's strange.

My dealer told me he could get the rims for accessoiries and arrange some sort of buy-back for the original rims. Hope he's right, since i really want the 216 style

those wheels are hot, similar to a 360 challenge/BBS CH pattern. I am looking forward to seeing some pics of these on a street car.

I've seen several locally. Much prefer the M 208 (looks similar to the M6 wheel). The M 208 is a 7.5x18 and 8x18, which is a little odd, but nice wheel. Cost about the same as the 216 and much less than the 261. Wish I had a pic for you.
