Hello, I have a 2020 BMW 330i and I recently got a drivetrain malfunction warning a few weeks ago. I did some research and was told it could be something as simple as spark plugs and coils, so I replaced those because they haven’t been replaced yet after 60k miles so it was needed anyway. Drove fine for about 300 miles then the warning popped up again. I pulled up a few codes (no CEL on) and got 20F221 and 20A704. Both of these are related to the crank case shutoff valve which is apparently integrated into the heat management module (thermostat assembly). I also have codes CD990B and CD990E which say “Flex Ray request rear and front axle speed”. Not sure where to go from here, I’m also getting a slight rough idle so I was thinking of either replacing the thermostat assembly as it relates to the two error codes, or possibly fuel injectors as that could be a reason for why it’s rough idling. Any suggestions would be very helpful, I’ve looked through the forums and haven’t found much related help.
