Autocross wheels, WTB: "Cheap", "Light" and stock sized?

Has anyone found a decent set of not expensive wheels in stock sizes and offsets? Specifically 18x7.5 ET49 and 18x8.5 ET52 with 5x120 lug holes?

I've certainly failed to come up with a set. The Breyton GTS-R that Gill@TireRack has said are coming meet the OE width requirement and are lightweight. Don't Solo rules allow variation from the OE offset up to 1/4" (6.4mm)?

Yes, you can vary in offset by up to 1/4" in the stock classes. Sure wish you could at least go narrower for wheel width; that would open up a lot of options in terms of better cost, if not better performance.

"Breyton" and "lightweight" do not belong in the same sentance. Or even on the same page. I think Breyton translates to "lead anchor" in old German.

We're going to look at some 1 series cars in a few hours and hopefully we'll have some D-Force options for the E82 very soon. Edit: we already have an 18x8.5" now (D-Force EmPower, also in 18x9.5") but the front 18x7.5" is too skinny to bother with - so we won't be offering that option.

Yes, you have a 1/4" width wiggle room in SCCA Stock. Ditching the run-flat tires will save a lot of weigh and improve ride quality and grip, also. Run flats = all bad.

Not offering a 18x7.5"? Are you planning on running in SCCA Stock Autocross classes? What will you use in front? I think you must use a set that match factory stock sizes; for the E82 that means 17x7 all around (winter tire wheel sizes) or 18x7.5F and 18x8.5R. You can't run 18x8.5 all around for SCCA Stock Autocross.

Why not sell an 18x7.5? I'm going to need a pair...

I don't think Fair is much interested stock classes, BimmerMeUp.

Hey Terry, did you hear that Tom Berry (BSP) blew up his Evo engine?

Garage List
D Stock Wheel Options - any updates?

Last I heard, finding a pair of fronts (D-Force) in 18 x 7.5 wasn't available. Any changes or any other options besides running the OEM wheels that anyone is aware of? Thanks.

I don't know of any currently available. Gill says TireRack should have the new Breyton GTS-R wheel in early July.
