Andrew, I am keen to go see you once the car gets here. I am planning to slowly make this car track worthy, so I need a reliable shop to help me do this! I know a race shop near me real well, but he is so busy preparing/repairing older Porsches and Corvettes that he doesn't have the time to dedicate to me.

Please tell me more about the Active Autowerke chip for the 135i. What is the gain on it? Is the program written just for Australia? What is the cost? Also, do you have a relationship with Quaiffe? Or other LSD providers? Do you know the best option for a half cage (using existing mounting points without ruining carpet/headliner if possible so I can revert the car back to stock if required)?

Anyway as I said, keen to talk to you more about all this and more.

Hi Andrew, and welcome! I'd be keen to hear what you're able to do with the 125i's ECU...

I'd be happy to offer our services.

Please tell me more about the Active Autowerke chip for the 135i. What is the gain on it? Is the program written just for Australia? What is the cost?

We are currently doing the 335i Active Processor set up for $899 Aud for the kit or installed including dyno for $1199. i expect that to carry through to 135i. The program is set up for overseas at the moment, we have to wait until the cars are released here before i can see how they run with the setup, then change setup if required.
Also, do you have a relationship with Quaiffe? Or other LSD providers? Yes

Do you know the best option for a half cage (using existing mounting points without ruining carpet/headliner if possible so I can revert the car back to stock if required)? I have spoken with our cage suppliers, and they require seeing the car to take some measurements etc. i would be happy to forward you on to them when you are ready

Anyway as I said, keen to talk to you more about all this and more.
Any time, thats what i wish to bring to the forum, i look forward to these cars coming out, i'm hounding BMW for as much info as i can at the moment, its slow to be released, but you gotta try, don't you. You guys would know more about the detail in these cars than i do at the moment!

BTW: Active have the Active Processor and intercooler released, Blow off valve should not be long and maybe exhaust after that, i'll be sure to let you know when we have orders coming.

Also: i've been wearing out the search button here, so much good info, thanks all!

Cool! Keep us updated on the Active processor. Very keen. Have you got dyno graph for that even on a 335i? Also what is the price of the intercooler installed? I am potentially going to build a long term relationship with you so be gentle on the pricing mate! As I said, I will come visit you when they car arrive. It's not coming until 20th May anyway.

Andrew,

Can you look into the CVD modification that the guys in the US feel improve the clutch performance. Are we able to get something similiar here?

Cheers.

You mean CDV-Clutch delay valve, as soon as i have a new car here, or one to play with, i am sure we can look into those options.

Andrew
Thanks. Either way, I'd probably prefer someone (you?) do it for me given lack of space/tools/time... oh and inclination!

We'll chat once the friggin' thing arrives in the country.
