I read on someones post that the rotors generally need to be changed when the brake pads are changed. Those are expensive rotors to have to replace frequently.

Great news! BMW's Performance Rotors roll into the owner's current maintenance plan. If you buy the rotor set one time, that's all you'll ever have to do for the rest of your BMW's warranty.

From that I believe, they are just like the factory 135i rotor except that they are cross-drilled better braking both on wet and dry surfaces. That said, I'm under the impression they are floating.
