how does the bluetooth work?

Ok, i read the manual but i'm having issues. my phone connects and i can dial my contacts through the car (they show up in the car). BUT

1) when i'm receiving a call, the name of the caller doesn't show up, instead i see ****. WTF?

2) i can't dial my contacts by voice. in the manual it says i have to impute them into the car's phone book. the manual says the command to start that function is "store name." "store name" has no effect. finally i figured out that "store entry" works. So the car asks me the name, i give it. The car then asks me the number. I give the 7 digit number, the car repeats it and then says "continue." and that's where i'm stuck. it keeps thinking there's more numbers. How do i finish the function and store the name? THANKS

1) Is your contact in different language? Because it only shows Alphabets and Numbers in the contact.

2) Once it repeat the number, then say 'Dial'.

2) Once it repeat the number, then say 'Dial'. WILL THAT STORE IT? I DON'T NECESSARILY WANT TO DIAL A NUMBER. I SAY "STORE ENTRY" AND THEN IT ASKS FOR NAME, I GIVE A NAME, THEN IT ASKS FOR NUMBER, I JUST WANT THE NUMBER STORED SO I CAN CALL IT LATER
thanks for the response, my responses in caps above. thanks again

i think i found a list of voice commands for non-idrive cars. haven't tested it yet but have a good feeling about this. The command i was looking for, i believe was "save." the "store" command listed in the manual doesn't work in my car.

Dialing a Telephone Name
You Say: Voice Output
>> Dial Name << Please speak Name
>> << Do you wish to dial
>> Yes << Dialing
>> No << System Off

Dialing a Telephone Number
>> Dial Number << Please Speak Number
>> One, Eight.. << One, Eight, ..
>> Dial Number << Dialing
>> Correction << One, …. {The last number entered is removed on p
>> Delete << Please speak the Number {You may start again}

Cancel voice input at any time
>> Cancel << System off
>> Clear << System Off

Storing a Telephone Number:
>> Save Name<< Please Speak the Name
>> XYZ << Please repeat
>> XYZ << Please Speak the Number
>> One, two << One, Two ..
>> Save << The Name and Number are saved
>> Correction << One, …. {The last number entered is removed on playback}
>> Delete << Please speak the Number {You may start again}

Deleting a Telephone Number:
>> Delete Name << Please speak the Name
>> XYZ << Would you like to delete XYZ
>> Yes << Name and Number are deleted
>> No << System Off

Clearing the entire phonebook
>> Delete Phone Book << Would you like to all entries in the phoneb
>> Yes << Are you sure ?
>> Yes << The Phonebook has being deleted
>> No << System Off

Dialing a number from Memory:
>> Dial Name << Please speak the Name
>> XYZ << XYZ, are you sure ?
>> Yes << Dialing …
>> No << System off

Reading out the phonebook
>> Read Phonebook << (Reads out enteries)
>> Dial << Dialing {After a name has being read}

Redial last number used:
>> Redial << Dialing

i just tried the commands above and it worked perfectly. stored a couple of voice entry's in bmw phonebook using the "save" command and now i can dial them.

Also, figured out the problem with the names not showing up when receiving a call - I was getting calls from "private" or "restricted" numbers. so even though i had them in my contacts, they show up as private on my blackberry, and on bmw they show up a ****.
