Its a little on the loud side, but not too loud. I am going to try something different in a few weeks.
LOUD was my E46 330Ci with intake, cams, headers, NO cats, custom Rogue Exhaust that was basically a straight shot from the cylinder head to the tips! |

So..many..posts..LOL!
Roveractive is like MSRP x2 on everything.. I received PMs, just waiting to see if there is any other interest. Here are some quick pics of the exhaust; sorry its a little dirty; and yes, it is off the car ready-to-go. EDIT: I have the clamp too, although I recommend you weld it on (mine was clamped) |

wait a minute. you "clamp" a muffler to your exhaust piping? how safe is that?
can someone post a pic of "clamped" muffler?

Fitment is better with exhaust welded rather than clamped, no risk of it coming apart (they do over time) and all clamped pipes will leak at some point.
That being said, clamping is fine, welding is better, albeit more permanent. That flap in the exhaust of the 330 is a loud thing more than anything. The E46 guys usually mod the flap to keep it open to get more sound. Torque isnt affected. A 330 owner would upgrade for sound and looks. |
