[Request] Golf Tee Mod?
It seems simple enough, but some guidance would be good so people not experienced with this (like me) won't screw up. A DIY with pics would be great.

if you do a forum search their is a decent DYI with some pics on the process, Its pretty straight forward and literally takes 3 min to do but I do understand your concern. Defiently do a quick search on the forum.

i've done the mod on my car and recently did it on my sister's 128i...
the mod makes the car sound like a monster, even louder then my car. anyways i used to (2) 1/4 vacuum caps and a small piece of hosing about the same size as the one attached to the wastegate on the muffler. 1. when installing i simply pulled the vacuum line from the wastegate (black made of plastic, can't miss it) attached to the muffler. 2. then cap off the line with one of the 1/4 caps and just tuck the line away away. 3. then with a short piece of the hose, similar to the size of the vacuum line, you cap one side off and attached the other end to the nipple on the wastegate, it should fit snug as to not fall off. 4. and your done. well that's i how i did it, she's been driving around for awhile with it with no problems, nothing falling. and for any of you who ask, there's no power gains to this, but a louder stock muffler. i'll post some pictures up of what i did a little later and a vid if you guys want..... well happy modding |
