Floor mats

Has everyone been able to get floor mats for the cars which have already been delivered. My dealer claims that there are none in Australia and I'm concerned about running my gleaming new 135 without any carpet protection.

They should at least give you some generic mats while you wait..

If we paid US$35k for the car, we probably would have only got floor mats, but most of us (me not included as yet) paid more than AU$75k for this car, so floor mats aren't included.

I was given mats out of a 1 series hatch and was told mats would be in in 2-3 weeks. The current mats are a pain as the clutch catches the mat and flicks it every time I change gear.

Yeah I got the furry mats. Looks like the antracite black colour. I think I like this more than the rubber ones. There is no insignia or anything but it seems to fit well.

Cheers.

I must admit I was given mine. I am sure adapter was included as part of the spec.

Mine seem to be the same. Did someone mention they are the same as found on the hatch?

I got given a standard usb cable, but its kinda useless. I might ask my dealer for a Ipod cable See if they are willing... I tried the standard cable tonight with the 3.5mm photo and the sound was working fine... I need to muck around with it.

Is the stereo meant to be set to USB or AUX when using the Ipod?

Set it to USB if you're using an iPod

Providing you're using a windows formatted Ipod you should be fine with a standard dock -> usb cable.

If you want to play anything that you've purchased through iTunes OR you have a mac formatted iPod you'll need to fork out $120 for the BMW cable

I played MP3s from a USB drive. Removed the drive and shifted some files around. Plugged the USB drive back into the car and the player remembered exactly where on the play list I was up to! Thought that was pretty cool.
