"Year One of the 1" engraving?
I've seen several shots of overseas models that have "Year One of the 1" engraved on the chrome surrounding the START button. I thought this was pretty cool, but it wasn't on the car I test drove last week.
Does anyone know anything about this, and why it would be that some cars/markets get it and some don't?

I agree it's cool, but the fact remains; it's not the first year of the 1 Series in Australia. IMO having it on Aust cars is pointless, kinda like putting an M/// bdage on...
